Randolph Felker
Randolph Felker practices in the areas of Insurance defense, commercial law, governmental liability, real estate, commercial and general civil litigation.
As an assistant attorney general, Mr. Felker handled all civil rights cases against the Department of Corrections from 1973 to 1975. Mr. Felker has varied experience in defense work for insurers and civil and governmental entities. He has represented various state agencies, including the Highway Department, State Police, Children, Youth & Families Department, Game and Fish Department, Corrections Department, Department of Hospitals and Institutions, PERA, Veterans Service Commission and the Livestock Board.
In private practice, Mr. Felker has had an extensive general civil practice, including insurance defense litigation, general and commercial litigation, and real estate matters. As insurance defense counsel, Mr. Felker has represented various insureds and private and public entities. He has handled insurance defense matters for the New Mexico Property and Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association, State of New Mexico (Risk Management Division), Bernalillo County, San Miguel County, the Albuquerque Public School System, City of Albuquerque, Miners Colfax Medical Center, UNM Hospital, Sierra Vista Hospital, Albuquerque Metropolitan Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA), City and County of Taos, New Mexico State Police, City of Santa Fe, Taos County Sheriff's Department, City of Las Vegas, Village of Chama, Santa Fe Public Schools system and numerous other governmental entities. For approximately ten years, Mr. Felker has acted as an outside litigation contract counsel for the State of New Mexico (Risk Management Division) and has been assigned to the defense of numerous civil rights matters, tort claims, actions pursuant to Title VII and IX, medical malpractice claims and insurance coverage matters.
In addition, Mr. Felker has represented numerous commercial clients, developers, builders and home owners associations in the Santa Fe area.

Mark L. Ish
Mark Ish practices in the areas of general personal injury and commercial tort liability and litigation, construction defect litigation, aviation liability, commercial and insurance coverage related litigation including defense of insureds, coverage claims, and defense of healthcare professionals, lending liability, and plaintiffs’ medical malpractice.
From 1979 to the present Mr. Ish has been engaged in the private practice of law. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, highway, commercial and residential construction defects, insurance coverage and bad faith, aviation accidents and related tort liability, lending liability and general commercial matters. His representation of clients includes work as trial counsel. Representative clients include commercial and corporate defendants, insurance carriers and their insureds in all facets of litigation. His practice has included the representation of plaintiffs in similar circumstances. His representation has included private parties, governmental entities, insurance carriers, medical providers and patients, self-insured corporations, and insurance associations. He is general counsel for the New Mexico Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association. He has represented aviation fixed base operators and contractors in all facets of their operations, including leasehold disputes, aircraft accidents, and construction defect litigation.
Mr. Ish has extensive current involvement in the area of general personal and business related tort liability, medical malpractice, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, with over 80 first chair jury trials.

Carol J. Ritchie
Carol Ritchie practices in the areas of general tort liability, civil rights, consumer rights, medical malpractice, contract claims, appellate and motion briefing.
Ms. Ritchie has been with the firm since 1984. Her practice involves general civil litigation, including insurance defense, personal injury actions, premises liability, contractual liability, New Mexico Tort Claims Act liability, consumer protection litigation, declaratory judgment, and civil rights defense. She has litigated in both state and federal court. She has extensive experience preparing discovery and dispositive motions. Ms. Ritchie has also prepared numerous appellate briefs in the New Mexico Supreme Court, New Mexico Court of Appeals, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. She has also assisted in the preparation of Petitions for Certiorari filed in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mariana G. Geer
Mariana Geer practices in the areas of real estate, business, construction, probate, wills and trusts, and appeals.
Ms. Geer has an active real estate practice, representing real estate developers, contractors, buyers, sellers and homeowners’ associations. She also practices in the areas of business law and estate planning. Ms. Geer became a shareholder in the firm in 1989.
Ms. Geer was appointed as a judicial law clerk and served Chief Justice William R. Federici of the New Mexico Supreme Court from July, 1984 to January, 1986. While at the Supreme Court, she performed appellate work and drafted opinions in various areas of the law, including general tort liability, contracts, medical malpractice, and workmens' compensation.
In her private practice, Ms. Geer has written appellate briefs in such diverse areas of the law as civil rights, contract law, tort law, domestic relations, and workmens' compensation law. She has represented Los Alamos County, San Miguel County and the County Commission of San Miguel County in civil rights actions on appeal to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Geer has handled numerous commercial-civil litigation actions for various lending institutions involving lender liability claims.
