General Litigation Experience

From 1979 to the present Mr. Ish has been engaged in the private practice of law.  He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, highway, commercial and residential construction defect, insurance coverage and bad faith, aviation accidents and related tort liability, lending liability and general commercial matters.  His representation of clients includes work as trial counsel.  Representative clients include commercial and corporate defendants and insurance carriers in all facets of litigation.  Since his practice has included the representation of plaintiffs in similar circumstances, it has enabled the firm to approach defense cases from a balanced point of view.  His representation has included private parties, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, Risk Management Division of the State of New Mexico, and he is counsel for the New Mexico Property & Casualty Insurance Guaranty Association.  He has represented aviation fixed base operators and contractors in all facets of their operations.

Mr. Ish has extensive current involvement in the area of tort liability, medical malpractice, construction defect, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, with over 80 first chair jury trials.
